The Decline of Focus in the Modern Era

Many individuals have observed a significant decline in their ability to maintain concentrated attention. It is increasingly common to find people multitasking during work or study sessions, frequently checking social media or news updates with the anticipation that new information might appear at any moment. This phenomenon is often driven by the constant proximity of smartphones, which tempt us to seek distraction even in moments dedicated to focus.

However, it is possible to transform this disruptive device into a tool that enhances concentration. This application aims to assist users in improving their daily focus levels through structured intervals.

Getting started with the app is straightforward. The initial level requires only three minutes of focused activity—a manageable duration for most users. As progress continues, levels increase incrementally: six minutes at level two, nine minutes at level three, and so forth, with each new level adding just three minutes compared to the previous one. The maximum daily level is 19, culminating in a total of 57 minutes of focused time per session, which equates to approximately nine hours and thirty minutes when accumulated consistently over a day.

The app promotes sustained effort with ambitious goals such as achieving 10,000 hours of intense focus. Recognizing that dedicating ten hours daily spans roughly three years, the program allows users to break this objective into achievable segments of 100 hours each. Additionally, it provides metrics on progress—such as the number of days required to reach each 100-hour milestone—facilitating motivation and tracking.

An intuitive calendar interface displays daily concentration levels using color codes for quick assessment. Users can review weekly, monthly, or yearly averages and analyze their progress over time. Consistent daily engagement results in accumulating 'combo' points, further encouraging commitment. Personalization options include selecting images from the photo album as wallpaper, allowing users to incorporate motivational visuals or personal goals into their focus environment.
